Tradition was a driving force when the West Thebarton Hotel began planning to re-launch their tired old front bar. Set to offer one of the state's largest selections of craft beers, live music, modern food menu and a complete renovation, the venue didn't want to lose sight of where it came from. Our task was to help the bar be more accessible to new patronage without alienating true front-bar locals.
Slab fonts evoke a timeless "pub window" look, balanced by a more modern interior fit-out. Measured use of brand elements in-venue builds a consistent experience. The new brand was rolled out on a sharp deadline across decals, signage, merchandise, coasters, menus and more. Our in-house team also handled a ground-up "one-page" style web development including the critical element: live beer menus.
